Course Recommendations

I recommend these specific courses of study based on both my own experiences with them as well as my clients' positive experiences with them. I have studied directly with Russ Harris and Oren Jay Sofer over a period of several years and often teach the skills from these courses to clients in sessions.  I have completed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction level 1 Teacher Training through Brown University.   

 

By completed one of these courses and/or reading and engaging with the associated books, you can greatly offset the time you spend in therapy by learning skills in a cost-effective way and accelerate your learning and personal growth.

Courses range in price from less than the cost of a single therapy session to approximately the cost of 1-3 therapy sessions (depending on which course you take).  I recommend you read the book and also take the course while starting therapy at a pace designed to match your progression through the course.

You will rapidly train in the skills of psychological flexibility, mindfulness, stress reduction, or communication, with individual support in further refining and applying what you’re learning through 1:1 individual therapy.
